Algemene voorwaarden

Reservations can only be made by sending a fully completed reservation form by e-mail, the website or by telephone.
After receipt of the booking confirmation, 50% of the total amount must be paid within 2 weeks. Payment of the remaining amount must be received by the campsite 6 weeks before the date of arrival. For bookings of less than 6 weeks, the total amount due must be paid at the same time as the booking. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee or cancel the booking.
The prices shown are confirmed and locked on receipt of the booking confirmation, unless the traveller changes the dates of stay, number of people or category of accommodation requested. The campsite reserves the right to modify taxes in the event of government or VAT changes.
We may ask for a deposit for the rental of accommodation. If this is the case, after departure the customer will be asked to complete a bank details form. If the accommodation is returned in good condition, with a full inventory and no damage, the campsite will refund the deposit within 5 days, using the online payment method or by bank transfer. Under no circumstances will the refund be made in cash. The currency will be euros (€).
Modifications involving partial cancellation (e.g. reduction in the period booked) are subject to the cancellation conditions in this section. All changes will be subject to a change fee.
Campsite: The pitch may be occupied from 13:00 and must be vacated and left clean by 11:30.
Rental accommodation: The accommodation you have rented is available from 3.30pm. Please arrive during opening hours. Within one hour of your arrival, you must notify reception of any imperfections and/or missing inventory. On the day of departure, the accommodation must be left clean and tidy by 10.30 a.m.

  •  Reservations may be cancelled free of charge within 2 days of the date of confirmation, except for reservations made within 6 weeks of arrival.
  • In the event of cancellation between 7 days after the date of confirmation of the reservation and 6 weeks prior to arrival, 50% of the total rent will be charged.
  •  In the event of cancellation between 6 weeks and 1 week before arrival, 90% of the total rental price will be charged.
  •  In the event of cancellation between one week before arrival and the day of arrival, the full amount of the rent will be charged.
  •  No refunds will be given for early departures or late arrivals.
  •  Cancellations must be made in writing. If the cancellation is made by telephone, the campsite will send you an e-mail directly after the telephone conversation.

The campsite cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, damage or injury caused to or by the users of the accommodation offered by the campsite, however such damage or injury may have occurred. Participation in activities organised by the campsite or by third parties is at your own risk.
Campers or users of rental accommodation must comply with the rules of conduct that the manager wishes to see respected by the guests present on his site.
Any camper or user of rented accommodation who causes a nuisance or inconvenience may, after a warning, be removed from the accommodation or campsite, without any refund of payments.
Statements made by members of staff of ArdenParks campsites, in any capacity whatsoever, concerning the liability of the "ArdenParks Signy-L'abbaye" campsite are not binding on the ArdenParks group.
Small pets (1 maximum) are only allowed in rental accommodation with the prior written agreement of the campsite. It is forbidden to leave pets unattended in the rented accommodation. The pet owner is responsible for any damage or contamination.
It is advisable to join the cancellation fund. By joining the cancellation fund, you can protect yourself against the costs of cancelling the rental of the accommodation/pitch if one of the travellers :

A. suddenly falls ill or is injured as a result of an accident ;
B. suffers a death in the immediate family, i.e. the death of a spouse, parents, parents-in-law, children, brothers or sisters.

In addition, this fund will reimburse you for cancellation costs if the head of the family becomes involuntarily unemployed. The cancellation fund can only be taken out at the time of booking. The cancellation fund provides cover from the day of booking until the departure date indicated in the booking request. In the event of early departure, for one of the reasons mentioned above, a refund will be made pro rata to the number of days of holiday not taken. In this case, you must inform the campsite reception that you have vacated the rental unit/campsite. Consumption will not be refunded if the holiday is cancelled prematurely. To be entitled to a payment from the cancellation fund, you must submit a cancellation declaration and supporting (medical) documents. In the event of cancellation, there will be no payment of the booking fee from the premium cancellation fund. The premium is 5.5% of the total amount + €5.00 administration fee.
