Culture enthusiasts can have a great time in one of the typical French villages such as Monthermé or at the many places of interest in the Ardennes. Let yourself be surprised by the beauty of the Ardennes and imagine yourself in an oasis surrounded by singing birds, unspoilt nature and flowing waters. The Saint-Didier church in Asfeld
The unusual design is what makes Saint-Didier church so unique. The person responsible for construction, Count de Avaux, wanted the building in the shape of a musical instrument and in the Baroque style. In 1685, the architect gave birth to a church in the shape of a viola da gamba, richly decorated with domes, 138 pillars and columns and colourful frescoes. The Saint-Didier church in Asfeld is 42 car minutes away from our holiday park.
